 Cholesterol EFA, by Aboca, is said to “help maintain normal blood lipids levels and support cardiovascular function.” One important thing to know about cholesterol is that there are two main types: Low-Density Lipoprotein (LDL) and High-Density Lipoprotein (HDL). While the latter carries cholesterol to the liver, the former carries it away from the liver. An abnormally high level of LDLs, or bad cholesterol, as it may be popularly known, is said to be linked with cardiovascular diseases.
One thing to notice about Cholesterol EFA and Aboca may be that the company actually promotes another supplement that is also said to “help maintain normal cholesterol levels.” This supplement is called Cholesterol Plant. This fact by itself may raise some important questions about the efficacy of Cholesterol EFA. Therefore, we will take a closer look at the Cholesterol EFA ingredients and conclude whether it may really be an effective product with potential benefits, or whether there may be better formulas on the market.

We like the fact that Aboca USA has an official online presence. This website clearly lists Cholesterol EFA and discloses its ingredients, some of which are as follows: Fish Oil, Guggul, Garlic, Rosemary Essential Oil and Sunflower Oil. The vegetable oils also supply 25% Daily Value of Vitamin E. However, it should be noted that the supplement is intended not to drive down LDL levels, but maintain normal blood lipid levels.

Guggul is variously claimed to do many wonderful things, from aiding with weight loss to having overall health benefits, to even increasing libido. However, there may not be enough evidence to back these claims. Similarly, Vitamin E may not be any new compound; the vegetable oils may actually be too common to require any introduction. Although these natural extracts may have some overall health benefits, we do not see how they may exactly reduce LDL levels. We believe more in research-based ingredients, backed by independent scientific analysis.

We believe that the manufacturer could have gained our trust more if they had created an exclusive and official website on the product. We find a quality male enhancement formula may also be backed by numerous and positive testimonials. At the time of this review, the Aboca website does not list product-specific testimonials. Furthermore, we could not find any information about discounts on bulk buying.

If an individual has a history of high cholesterol and is over the age of 20, then it is said to be important to have blood cholesterol levels analyzed every couple of years. Furthermore, it may be a good idea to watch your diet. However, it may be asking too much of oneself to give up red meats or eggs and other food items that are otherwise healthy and desirable but for their high cholesterol.
Therefore, we believe a person looking to lower their bad cholesterol count may prefer to look at other options. For many of us, giving up on our favorite foods may not be appealing. Similarly, we may be more concerned about the possible side effects of pharmaceutical drugs than with our LDL levels. If such is the case, then taking an all-natural supplement that does not tamper with the liver, and yet reduces bad cholesterol levels may be the best choice. Various research seems to suggest that supplementing a diet with Plant Sterols may significantly reduce bad cholesterol count.
