Summary |
Cholesterol is an element that plays a vital role in the human body, enabling it to run smoothly. But, when we eat too many cholesterol-rich foods, it may negatively affect our health, by building up along the artery walls, increasing the risk for heart attack and stroke. There are many different ways to address high cholesterol levels, both as a preventative measure and as a remedy. There are a wide variety of pharmaceutical medications available, but increasingly, individuals have started successfully using holistic supplements, such as Plant Sterols, to address cholesterol related issues.
However, there are also other adjuncts available to enable people to manage high cholesterol levels. CardioCheck is a device which was created to assist individuals in keeping track of their cholesterol levels. This may be a really great way to manage cholesterol levels, in order to see if whatever method you choose to use is working.

 | Device at a Glance |
|
CardioChek is a cholesterol sensing device that is designed to be used at home. It is advertised as being a “fast, portable, accurate and easy-to-use test system for self-monitoring cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL cholesterol, glucose or ketones”. It is most often used to enable individuals to control their risk of heart disease and diabetes, as well as being used to assist dieters in keeping track of their levels when engaged in ketogenic diet programs.

 | Device in Focus |
|
CardioChek was created to test a person’s whole blood from a small drop of blood acquired from a fingerstick, and to be an alternative to the BioScanner. It analyzes an individual’s blood and measures various blood components from a very small sample size. This device is made up of three parts - a Memo Chip, the analyzer and test strips.
The real question is: how does the CardioChek work? The answer is actually quite simple - when the blood sample is applied to the test strip, a chemical reaction takes place, which manifests in a color change. This process is known as “reflectance photometry”; the analyzer and the Memo Chip work together to gauge the color reaction and evaluate the information stored in the MEMo Chip. The results are then displayed on the screen in a way an individual may easily understand.

 | Lifestyle |
|
For individuals who already know they are having cholesterol related issues, these kinds of devices may give them an opportunity to know their cholesterol levels on a daily or weekly basis, so they may stay on top of it. However, this method will not by itself enable people to actively decrease their cholesterol levels.
Luckily, there are many ways to get and keep your cholesterol levels on track. For instance, we have seen people achieve some really great results with Plant Sterols, because they actually mimic cholesterol in the digestive track, so the body absorbs them instead, and lets the cholesterol pass out undigested. This means that even when individuals slip and eat some of their favorite cholesterol-laden foods, they still may keep their cholesterol levels on track.
|
 | Positives |
|
• Easy to use
• May enable people to keep track of their cholesterol levels
|
 | Negatives |
|
• Not a direct way to lower cholesterol levels
• May order directly from this site

 | Final Thoughts |
|
CardioChek may be a fairly handy device for those who really wish to stay on top of their cholesterol levels, but, as mentioned above, it is not a remedy for high cholesterol. It is often teamed up with some kind of medication, diet or holistic supplementation. It is not available though this website directly, but they provide a list of stores and online distributors.
Shopping online has become really popular with many people, and it has given them access to a wider variety of products, which is great. However, when buying online, we always suggest looking for sites that offer full money-back guarantees, easy returns and access to quality customer care, to ensure you have a positive experience.
