 CholestePure is said to “support cardiovascular and prostrate health.” It is manufactured by Pure Encapsulations®, a supplement maker that promotes a host of other formulas. The company claims that CholestePure is “a high-purity phytosterol complex, supporting healthy lipid metabolism without the saturated fat, trans fatty acids or calories found in functional foods.” We like the inclusion of Beta-Sitosterol.
However, it remains to be seen whether CholestePure may hold up to objective analysis. First, it seems that it may not supply enough Phytosterols to meaningfully lower LDL levels. Second, it is not being promoted through an exclusive website at the time of this review. And third, it may not be available directly through the manufacturer. Therefore, in this review we will look at the formula in some detail and conclude whether we may do better by trusting in some better products.

As per the official Pure Encapsulations® website, CholestePure is said to supply 500 mg of Phytosterol Complex and 50 mg of Vitamin C. The Phytosterol Complex is comprised of some of the following: Beta Sitosterol, Campesterol, Stigmasterol, Brassicasterol and Sitostanol. The question then is essentially about how much Phytosterols may be sufficient and optimum for the body to meaningfully reduce LDL levels.

Some recent studies seem to have shown that we may have to take significantly more of these Phytosterols to really lower the bad cholesterol count. As per numerous reports published in famous journals, like, for instance, European Heart Journal or Journal of Clinical Nutrition, cholesterol absorption is found to be significantly reduced when meals are supplemented with Beta-Sitosterol and other Plant Sterols.
However, one thing to note may be that these Sterols need to be taken in optimum and judicious amounts. The product in question only supplies 500 mg of the Plant Sterols complex, which may not be enough. Furthermore, the manufacturer does not explicitly mention whether these Plant Sterols have been certified, and if so, then by whom and so on. We would have appreciated a more informative website.

As mentioned above, Pure Encapsulations® has an official website; this website lists CholestePure and discloses the ingredients. However, as of review, the website only devotes one webpage for the product among numerous other products. Furthermore, detailed information may not be available, as are testimonials. Most importantly, at this time we could not locate online buying features on the website. We always like it better to buy directly from the manufacturer, since it usually eliminates the middleman.

In the end, we appreciate that CholestePure supplies Phytosterols. We are also attracted by the fact that the manufacturer seems to have a well-kept website, albeit we are a bit discouraged from buying the product because it does not seem to come with money-back offers. Moreover, we would have liked it a lot better had it been available directly from the manufacturer.
There may be formulas on the market with proven natural ingredients that not only come with 100% refund guarantees, but also offer free gifts, like magazine subscriptions. The best of these formulas may be backed with numerous customer testimonials, and will probably be promoted through well-kept and properly encrypted, exclusive websites.
