The name of the supplement seems to connote statins, a popular group of prescription drugs for lowering cholesterol.
We note that Cholestatin™ Fiber Complex is also known as Cholesterol Balance™. In fact, Futurebiotics® promotes as many as 5 other purported cholesterol-lowering supplements. One of them is called Cholestatin™, and is not to be confused with Cholesterol Balance™ Cholestatin™ Fiber. Therefore, we will take a closer look at the Cholestatin™ Fiber Complex ingredients and conclude whether it may really be an effective product with potential benefits, or whether there may be better formulas on the market.

Without a doubt, we believe the fact that Cholestatin™ Fiber Complex contains Plant Sterols is a significant factor in its favor. Plant sterols may be found in almost all kinds of natural foods. However, we believe that the formula in question may not supply the optimum amount of these Plant Sterols.
